Annual Fundraiser date set: July 28, 2013
OURF will be holding its annual fundraiser on Sunday, July 28, 2013 in Beverly Hills, California. The event will be a late afternoon, early evening affair featuring environmental activist and actor, Ed Begley Jr. (also a member of OURF's board). Fritz Coleman of NBC-4 will serve once again as our emcee. We plan to have a silent auction, great entertainment and tasty food and drink. More information will be posted in the days ahead. Volunteers Needed
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help orangutans! If you're searching for a meaningful way to volunteer your time and talents OR are a high school/college student required to do a school assignment or internship, Orang Utan Republik Foundation (OURF) in Santa Monica CA is recruiting individuals for projects that will help save endangered orangutans in Indonesia. Each can be tailored to fulfill curriculum requirements while achieving OURF's goals to protect orangutans by educating, employing, and empowering Indonesian people. We need volunteers who can help us create and/or implement any of the following: website design, social media outlets, fundraising schemes, teacher packets for schools, and grant writing.
